Steam bent Ash wands, Oak dowels, copper roving nails, stainless steel, silicone stops, flint pebbles with holes from the south coast. These delicate indoor pieces hover off the wall, the shadows they cast are an integral part of the work as light directon and intensity varies throughout the day. To me they feel like sheet music both lyrical, light and structured. In addition to their strong visual and tactile appeal they are designed to cereate a sense of movement. They work wonderfully in groups and are double-sided which greatly increases their potential for composition.
